Am I entitled to pay when changing to mandatory work clothes?

Is it okay according to the law to not allow workers to log into work before changing clothes? e.g. the worker changes into mandated work clothes on their own time at their place of work. In my opinion changing clothes is part of the job because the job requires a change of clothes.

    There are no laws regulating that particular situation. It is possible that this situation is regulated in a local collective agreement or policy, but that seems very unlikely unless the change of clothes is very time consuming due to certain procedures that must be followed for example.

    The common practice on the labour market is that your work day starts when you are ready to perform work.
